Synopsis

From a tiny village in Babukodi near Mangalore in South India to the annals of the professional theatre in Mysore under the famous Gubbi Theatre Company to the musical tutelage in the Hindi speaking belt of North India of Benaras and then on to the national arena in New Delhi at the National School of Drama; and then hopping on tot he cultural bandwagon of Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal and returning back tot he roots in Mysore as the head of the Rangayana Theatre Repertory - a peep into the mind and journey through his own autobiography complied by well known Kannada language writer Vaidehi.

This film has been made thanks to the efforts of a numerous students and admirers of BV Karanth who have been spread all over India. This film has been made with the active cooperation of The Babukodi Venkataramana Karnath Ranga Prathistana, a trust started by BV Karanth himself when he was alive.
